VA Appointments tools offer a secure, web-based way to schedule, view, and organize your VA appointments online.
You can use these tools to:
Schedule some of your VA medical appointments onlineReschedule and cancel appointments made onlineView appointments on your health calendarFind the location of the VA facility for your appointmentsSet up email reminders for upcoming appointmentsPrint a list of your future appointmentsLook up past appointments from the last 2 yearsAdd non-VA appointments to your health calendar
Am I eligible to use the VA Appointments tools?
You can use these tools if you meet all of the requirements listed below.
All of these must be true. You:
Are enrolled in VA health care, andAre scheduling your appointment with a VA health facility that uses online scheduling, andHave had an appointment at that VA health facility within the last 2 years
And, you must have one of these free accounts:
A Premium My HealtheVet account, orA Premium DS Logon account (used for eBenefits and milConnect), orA verified ID.me account that you can create here on VA.gov
How do I know if my VA health facility uses online scheduling?
You can check our list of VA facilities that are currently using the online scheduling tool. We hope to expand the number of VA facilities and types of appointments in the future.
What types of VA medical appointments can I schedule online?
This will depend on the VA health facility where you’re receiving care.
You may be able to schedule outpatient appointments for:
Primary careMental healthOptometryAudiology

Can I use this tool to schedule non-VA appointments?

Can I schedule appointments through VA Secure Messaging?
If you use Secure Messaging with your VA health care team, you may be able to use this service to schedule and cancel appointments. Learn more about Secure Messaging
Will my personal health information be protected?
Yes. This is a secure website. We follow strict security policies and practices to protect your personal health information. And only you and your VA health care team will have access to your secure messages.
